Breathing Meditation: Counting the Breath — An Energy Healing Practice

In this busy world, the simplest way to heal your energy is — through breathing.Sit quietly, or lie down if you prefer.You don’t need to do anything special.Just allow yourself to be still, breathing gently and naturally.

Breathe in through your nose and breathe out through your nose.Begin to count your breaths —inhale once and as you exhale, silently count “one.”Inhale again and as you exhale, count “two.”Continue in this way until you reach ten,then gently return to one and start again.

There’s no need to control the pace of your breath,nor to chase any particular feeling.Simply breathe in naturally, breathe out naturally and count the breath as you exhale.

You can set your own duration
5 to 10 minutes is wonderful;15 minutes or more is even better.Sometimes, the mind will wander or thoughts may come and go — that’s okay.When you notice yourself being carried away,just gently guide yourself back and begin counting again.

By simply breathing and counting,your body begins to relax,and your heart gradually finds peace.Breathing is our deepest connection with life — every inhale welcomes new energy and every exhale releases what no longer serves you.

Starting today, give yourself a little time each day to do nothing at all —except to breathe quietly.
